Szczytno (German: Ortelsburg) is a town in north-eastern Poland with 27,970 inhabitants (2004). Szczytno was assigned to the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in 1999, and to the Olsztyn Voivodeship from 1975-1998. It is the seat of Szczytno County. Szczytno-Szymany International Airport is the most important airport of the Masurian region.
